non-consentual makeover
I'm tired today. Last night in practice my new favorite song got a chorus makeover that made my part sound strange, new drum and bass parts. They sound good, but I liked the old way better. It made me feel depressed. We're supposed to play this song on Thursday and I no longer feel confident of my part.

im left wondering who this cantankerous rascal is and if ive seen him around the luxurious ESO lobby. its interesting too how he really didnt say anything about what he thought about the sound - if he liked it or didnt like it. he only picked and commented on very technical aspects, and i just wonder why. seems like he had something to prove, like he was set on showing how knowledgeable and superior he is musically. point being, he's not worth paying any mind to and i think his statements are invalid. even if he didnt like it, which he'd be allowed not to, he didnt say that. instead he picked on arbitrary points. f him! L u!
ReplyDeleteI want to note that there is one Garbage song I still like and I have it in my head right now. It's called, In my happy home, and it's on Bleed Like Me. I think there were one or two others that I also liked on that album, but I can't listen anymore because my ex-roommate took it with her and it's worth it to me to replace.
